LeaderLync was founded with the vision of empowering students and creating greater transparency in the education ecosystem. We provide customized and dynamic opportunities to support the next generation of talent with particular reference to women, non-traditional students, people of color, and non-binary individuals. This is represented in our leadership, our growth and business strategy, and underscores our philosophy of celebrating the whole individual—not only their grades, credentials, and technical skillsets. We believe this approach will benefit our investors, our customers, and our team culture.

2016 - Present

compiling and constructing the interpersonal skills confidence index

“Academic insider develops a cutting-edge tool to close the gap on how students are assessed for academic or employment opportunities and success” (The Odyssey Online).

We gathered a team of educators, workforce development experts, artists, students, and engineers and got to work. The LeaderLync Index is based on meticulous research and insights into how confident college students felt about their interpersonal skills and leadership experience, and what resources it would take to improve them. We crunched the data and will summarize it here shortly.

The coolest part of the LeaderLync app is to showcase the interpersonal skills that you have worked on and strengthened over time. This matters to us because at its very core, these are the baseline skills that all employers say they are looking for. As the saying goes, you get hired for your technical skills, you get fired for your [lack of] soft skills. These skills should be cultivated over time—as early in your education as possible.
